Walk in Their Footsteps

Step back in time and retrace the footsteps of civil rights advocates as they marched across Cleveland in the 1950s, 60s and 70s. Start at the beginning and weave your way through the city, or immerse yourself in the history nearest to you along the African American Civil Rights Trail.

History is alive across Cleveland, telling a story written by civil rights advocates. We invite you to walk in their footsteps and re-live their message, one step at a time.
